Perimeter Systems Overview

Perimeter systems route wiring and cabling securely along walls. These systems are often specified for conference rooms, offices, classrooms, and training centers. Unlike in-wall installation, cabling that is laid into a perimeter system remains easily accessible at all times. These systems are also easy to expand or reconfigure.

Because these units are fully assembled and ready to install, installation and supervisory time is sharply reduced.

Perimeter raceway systems are fully compatible with Ortronics® TracJack® and Series II modular connectivity solutions, as well as other industry standard and proprietary devices.

Wiremold perimeter raceway systems also feature exclusive FiberReady™ fittings that maintain a two-inch cable bend radius to protect cabling during lay-in and pull-through installation. These fittings meet the bend radius specifications for the broadest range of optical fiber, as well as twisted pair and coaxial cabling that is commonly installed in horizontal distribution.
