DS4000® Raceway Saves Time Around Columns

When Corporate Translations, a provider of language services in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, renovated space in an office building in East Hartford, Conn., they specified DS4000® raceway from Wiremold/Legrand.

One particular challenge was structural columns that are adjacent to exterior walls - offsets that in the past meant slow going when installing perimeter raceway. Using conventional raceway takes over an hour per column compared to just 20 minutes with DS4000 raceway.

Unique adjust-to-fit raceway couplings allow up to 4" of lateral movement so the base can be "stretched" or "compressed" to fit a given space and/or to align mounting holes with studs. The channel divider is integral to the base rather than a separate piece, saving additional time.
